Let me tell you, I have never been a massive fan of ankle straps, mostly because they have this nifty little skill of elongating the foot. No thank you shoe, as a person with size 6 and a half feet, elongating is not cool.

But more recently I have become more accommodating to the one strap (or maybe two if you're really up for it) hugging my ankle. It can look sexy if paired with a simple silhouette of an outfit, and even better teamed with a pair of jeans.
