Man Repeller X Superga makes me superGAGA

Firstly I'd like to apologise for not writing in ages, I have several reasons which I will not bore you with - travelling and uni. There we go, nice and quick - because I know you don't really care about that kinda stuff. I know I wouldn't.

Secondly, holy mother of Superga - Leandra Medine (AKA Man Repeller) has teamed up with the brand of trainers that turns laces into something sexual - Superga.

If you'd rather hear/read about it from the woman herself, (which I personally recommend) then head straight there and leave me here (no hard feelings) - http://www.manrepeller.com/2013/09/now-in-mr-x-superga.html

If for some reason you're still reading this - thank you, maybe you've found me kind of funny - my modesty slightly endearing? Well that crap is over now - we're getting down to the gritty. CLICK BELOW

Making an impact: The Bomber

I've seen bomber jackets around shops for ages now, and it seems like they're going to go out of fashion soon. Don't think too fast.

The sun has finally decided to show its shameful face and in my opinion the bomber is the perfect substitute for a winter coat this time of year. Take away the stuffy, heavy, thick and bulky mass that is your sickeningly over-used winter coat and replace it with a light, loose and sickeningly cool jacket.

I'm sure I'm not the one to introduce you (but if I am then I feel honoured). Or maybe you have been introduced but the introduction wasn't impressive, maybe. Well let me change that.

Reader meet Bomber.

Bomber meet Reader.

Let me leave you too it.

Wishlist: Spring 2013

This is the post where I handpick my personal hot list for Spring 2013. I have gone through collections with a fine-toothed comb, being ultra critical of everything I come across. I ask myself why? What is it about this piece that makes it so great? Is it long lasting? Is it a one off? In fact, in order for you to understand why my top 10 is in fact these following articles, I have attached a small explanation following each, starting with 'because' (because my grammar has always been top notch).

Then I ask myself, why the fuck am I taking this so seriously, when I know that's all these pieces will ever be to me, a list?

Because a girl can dream, that's why. Okay.

It's getting hot in here, so lets go buy some clothes

I was getting quite depressed up until recently about the whereabouts of Spring, but today my sunglasses lost their 2013 virginity and they LOVED it.

In celebration of the weather's turnaround here's a compilation of the best the shops have to offer when you want to offer a little skin.

The best of: denim shorts

It's meant to be the hottest day of the year so far tomorrow, and I'm working 12 hours of it (but ignoring that horrible thought). I hope it reminds you of the Spring that is definitely springing and of the Summer that follows, and of course the hero of Summer that is the denim short. I bought my first pair of the year 2 weeks ago, I know it was WAY too early! But I don't give a shit, and neither should you.

Clash of the colours

Do red and Orange go together?

No

Do I care?

Hell no

In fact, the more they clash the better

Oh hey Narnia

This is a story of how New York discovered Narnia - but what lay before it was so great they didn't even feel tempted to venture any further.

You all know the story of Narnia- the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Let's talk more about the last part:

The Wardrobe - the magical portal to the world of Narnia, idyllic and beautiful, a place where 'it's always winter, but never Christmas'. Well you might want to grab your fur coat on the way there then...or just grab the coat and leave - as New York would say.

J Brand - it's not always in the jeans

'It’s easy, it’s effortless, you can wear it without having to try too hard,’ Rudes said. ‘Just like our jeans.’

A few nights ago across the pool from me, something special happened. You may have come across J brand as the go-to place for a good quality pair of designer jeans. Their reputation has grown more and more through each collection, to the point where they are now a world-renowned label.

This isn't the end of the J Brand tale - in fact, they've just started a new chapter. In my eyes it's called 'J Brand - it's not always in the jeans'. Okay it's not actually called that, but if they were actually calling this chapter a name - it's definitely an option.

New York was blessed with the debut ready-to-wear collection - found stood upon uniformly arranged podiums - and the trousers still won the gold medal. Let me show you.

The Jungle Look

I walked into Zara today, and honestly? I might as well have just walked into the Amazonian rainforest.

Okay slight exaggeration, but truthfully I think we can only blame one thing...

Beddie Redmayne

Sorry, I meant to say Eddie Redmayne, how very foolish of me...

Putting things into Perspextive

That kinda works right?

Okay, so it sounds silly, but that's not the point. The point is this:

This Spring/Summer saw a throng of plastic accessories hit the runway, as you may know. They have been seen in the shops ever since, and the word on the street tells me...

Life in Plastic, it's fantastic

Food + fashion = best combination ever!

Lucy Folk, a jewellery designer has a unique way of creating innovative pieces that mimic different foods. I've fallen in love with the Melbourne-based designer, as she has managed to combine two of my favourite things. Remember when you were little and you made necklaces out of dried pasta shapes, well let me tell you, Lucy's were definitely the best.

I've picked some of my favourite pieces, and I will follow whoever is the first to name all the different types of food in the pictures.
